I am surprised with how much hard driving my automatic has put up with over the last 10k miles. It still shows no signs of wimping out. Manual swap will be done in short order though.

Wow. This is great feedback. Does anyone have pics of "fast" E30s with auto trans so we can reference the car and have specs on 0-60, 1/4 mile, etc.
Seems like putting a turbo/supercharged 5 speed E30 together is pretty common. Who here can put an automatic E30 together and show us their work? I have seen some excellent cars built my short time on R3V. Never seen anybody put an automatic M20 to task. I'm talking clean build and fast. Any ideas on how to make it work?
