    FUCK

I rolled my car tonight. My right rear tire blew out at about 55 on a two lane country road sending me into a ditch, where the wheel dig into the dirt and flipped the car completly over back onto its wheels.
I dont want to be barraged by "you dont know how to drive" ,"stupid kid", etc. I just lost one of the most important things to me.
The roof is caved in and the windsheilds gone.It totaled for sure. I think im gonna try to find a shell and just switch all the parts out. So if anyone know of any 318is shells..let me know.

First Joe, and now you, what is it with you columbus boys, 4 banger BMWs, and the inability to keep the shiny side up?

Good to hear you're alive though, what road did you lose it on?

Sorry to hear that. Glad you made it out okay. Best of luck finding a shell to put the parts in.

I'm not gonna flame you on your driving.....I'm sure you've already got an earful from others already. However, despite your misfortune, I'm glad to hear you're ok. To roll a car at 55mph and walk away is lucky...but perhaps you reacted instinctively in some way that could've prevented a worse outcome.

I'm glad to see this event hasn't completely discouraged you from E30s. Salvage what you can from your totaled ride and slap it on a good straight E30 in need of some work. This is what I did last February when I totaled my previous E30. Its probably the best way to resolve this issue of replacing your ride without spending a ton and winding up with something you like.

Again, glad to hear you're ok. Keep us posted on your next E30s developments.

Sorry to hear if you need a good 2 door roof I have one in the garage cut off at the bottom of the A-pillars I'd sell you but you probally have damage to the quater panels of the car also.

the most important thing is that you are ok !
              The rest can be fixed...

                Shit, dude, that's terrible.

Glad you're ok, that's what's most important. I just had a friend lose control and hit a huge telephone pole at 55 - he was lucky to be alive as well (he hit it goin sideways).

That's terrible though, you are very fortunate to make it out with no harm done to you. I always look at it this way, once its done, no reason to think "what if I did this, or that" it'll just make you more angry with yourself (I know, I've done it before). Just put it up there with experience.

It's great to hear you'll be searching for another E30, I hope everything turns out for you! ;)

Yeah im sorta glad i flipped and it happened the way it did because there was a resivior (sp?) that i damn near went into.
As for sticking to e30s, i love em ! im sure there are plenty of cars that i wouldnt have been able to walk away from without a scratch.

Charlie- lost it on Africa road up north in delaware.

Damn, i was looking forward to having another dimond black 318is in town. Was that the bald tire?? that sucks man, my flip was a lot worse [being my fault and all]... and at 70mph, so i know how you feel.

How about fixing the e36 for the time being and then selling it once you get a nice e30 chassis?? When you get one ill help you swap, done it before, not that hard

Either way, glad your alright. Back hurt? because it will

Charlie... i suggest you dont drive your e30 anymore... may flip it
