i got your pm earlier, but am back at home on the laptop insted of my cell.

i can't tell you for sure, but i am pretty sure i am running a stock booster in mine and i have no clearence issues like you said you were having.
my only issue is the rearward most runner on the plenum hits the heater outlets at the firewall so i had to cut the hard lines flush with the sheet metal. i found this out from a member on here or tech that also has Dbilas like we do.

is this on the 3.1? i would think you would gain more throttle responce with the plenum because the air volume is available insted of having to travel through the tubing first, especially with the size of the motor.

This one it's a turbo eng that did not get built, Rob (e30motorwerks) it's doing my 3.1, that's 2012 delivery.

The Dbilas clears fine like yours does, it's the carbon box that requires hydroboosted brakes and relocating rubber to bracket mounting point for cable.,
        i'm not doing ither.

With this setup there s at least 1/8" away from brake booster, yet has a better curve.
making my own plenum to clear oem booster and not twinky winki with cable, that's what im after.,
pvc pipes are 1 1/2" into a 2" main, 1 1/2" match dbilas ITB's and 2" matches Millers AFM thing, so it's all good so far.

{ i could extendor variable lengheted d thrumpetaz :) inside plenum)

        thrumpets are 5" long

hydrobooster, phew!, iX's wont help either.

          dam i am jelly!

i have thought about getting one of those a couple of different times when they have popped up on the forum. i had no idea you had to monkey with so much shit to make them fit!

the fact that i am going boosted kept me away from them since i don't know how much they could handle before they would leak.

From what I understand you want to make sure the design allows for mostly equal airflow to each cylinder... You might have problems with that design.

                  Dbilas itb's with Miller's AFM & W.A.R chip setup.
Plenum it's Dbilas too but there's a bimmerworld plaque covering

Yeap, this is just thinking for clearance and visualizing spare room.

Now I can mold something around this base lenght elbows, all cylinders match elbows as on # 2, 3 & 6.

they aren't much shorter/longer than Dbilas design,
now I could try to do add a yzf-r1 type, I'm interested on the adjustable length trumpets they use.

here are some pics of the way my linkage is set up. it is different from yours, but my kit is older so maybe they have revised it?????

My setup looks like this one, with cable port pointing to riverside strut tower

using a s50 throttle cable, moved dial 2 clicks so cable does not snag anymore.
                        thanks.

                          omg, all that work...

do you have a huge hard on for m20s? because im pretty sure all that money could have been used for a really sweet s52 swap.

                            A running e36 m3's cost from 5 to 7k's all day long, that's less than a e30 with suspension + s52 motor swap.

Why do people still do this swaps ? just get a e36 and be done with it.

to me it's about a period correct engine in it's proper chassis., otherwise pickup an RT or Vette engine and surpass 400+hp's easy. but that's not what i'm looking for.

One the other hand I would say it's a shame I didn't get a 5 lug H&R coilover kit instead of a 4 lug one.
Now that's apples to apples as it would have been cheaper to adapt BBK's and have a huge selection of wheels to choose from with the M3 struts.

Live and learn it's all I can say.

So the M30 cable did not work?
