I'm leaning towards a red color and while i did like my old Zinnot I'm leaning towards a darker more Calypso'ish type color. And then i saw the pictures below and thought...Calypso Matte? Thoughts?

From experience, matte paint is porous like a sponge. If a cat walks across the hood, the dirt will be visible from a distance. Also, good luck selling a matte paint car.
I've had multiple cars painted and always regretted not doing an OEM color. If you want something unique, perhaps British racing green.

OP military green is the best matte color to be honest.

As someone who really likes flat/matte finishes i will say my 2 cents. Flat finishes you cannot keep perfect so i prefer them to be inexpensive so i can repaint occasionally. This is my motorbike with fresh OD green (flat). I have painted it 3 times in 5 years, 30,000 miles of all weather riding.
You can however get a satin cleared finish to be pretty durable. My 911 will be satin when i paint it, more difficult to keep up than gloss, but worth it in my opinion.
