I think the S85 E30 M3 would slay this cabrio with the CSi V12. That motor was strong, but time has marched on. I suspect that V12 is quite a bit heavier, too, and there's more weight in the cabrio chassis to begin with.
I just watched a bunch of Gustav's vids on M5board's YouTube channel of an S85 E30 M3 killing a variety of powerful cars. Interesting to watch a 2.8 turbo E30 cabrio come close, matching acceleration once it finally hooked up but by then the M3 had pulled several car lengths on the cabrio.Comment
