I found it interesting that on the M setting, they designed the stereo to "play" the engine sound louder in the cockpit for an "enhanced accoustical experience". Apparently the soundproofing is so good, they have to pump in artificial engine sound through the stereo. Ain't that some crazy shit?sigpic

I believe US deliveries of the F10 M5 start in August 2012. I do love the screaming V10 but I'm looking forward to experiencing the turbo V8's fat torque. I'm sure with a nice aftermarket exhaust it'll sound great. Good chance someone will get in and code it to shut off the audio enhancement of the engine to keep it real.
