This is why I love California. No need to change anything. This is going to be my first German winter, so we'll see how this goes. My wagon had to sit outside all winter while I was in Afghanistan last year and it's definitely feeling the pain.

lol year round i keep a military collapsible shovel, a gas can, tools, a fishing pole, water jug, all fluids, jumper cables, a small air compressor, fix a flat, a gas mask, extra ammo, bottle rockets, one of those foldout cloth chairs, a pool cue, an extra change of clothes, a survival kit, batteries, a handful of spare parts, a cantine with water, a flask with vodka, extra wiper set and a jack stand in my trunk lol.

I put on the bottlecaps/snow tires, a bra on the front, and this year I think I need to change out the trans fluid to some redline synthetic type stuff. Shifting was a little hard last year. Plenty of undercarriage washes too. When do you guys do it? I rock winter configuration from the end of October until the beginning of April.sigpic

BMW used to sell it under the name Gummi Pfledge, now autosol makes it. It's the best 8 bucks you'll ever spend.
It keeps your weatherstripping/gaskets/sunroof from freezing to the doors/windows in the winter. I use it year around to keep all my weatherstripping in good condition. Bav Auto also sells it in the car care section. Hope this helps
