Ways you squeezed more horsepower out...

I guess I did ask the question a little off. At least I helped a couple of guys feel a little more manly tonight though :D -
If you you use a come along to ratchet a strap around the engine it will literally squeeze some horses to the wheels.

from a thermo standpoint, you could decrease the coldest temperature of the power cycle. so you're looking a a scuba for the intake and driving into a lake.
for the power train, reduce the frictional losses.Leave a comment:

There is nothing you can do to transmit more HP to your wheels. If you could buy a straight cut gearbox, that would cut your drivetrain losses a little.
Any weight you remove from your drivetrain will help you accelerate a little faster (more HP sooner) but gives you no more HP for a given RPM.
A solidly mounted engine/gearbox/rearend will make your car handle better, tho.Leave a comment:

well if your going to be adding all this power your going to need better brakes, have you considered cross drilled brake lines?Leave a comment:

I once read where this one guy put 10,000 (THOUSAND!!) volt coil packs (EACH!!) on a stellar m20 project car for more power..Leave a comment:

Why has nobody discussed the turbo encabulator? Best bang for the buck I thinkLeave a comment:

the only time your engine is losing power to the wheels due to the type of engine mount being used is when the engine is literally spinning in place because there is nothing mounting it down to the frame.Leave a comment:

Once again, how do mounts on an e30 make a horse power difference, sure when your up at 300+......from your questions your sitting at what 120 rwhp?Leave a comment:
