Hey guys, is there anyways an upgraded chip can cause a high idle?
My car runs great, the idle does not fluctuate, it sits right around 900-1000 warm and cold. Sometimes it might sit at like 1100-1200 right after going from 30-50mph to a dead stop but then drops down if I let the clutch out a little and push it back in.
I have not been able to do a smoke test yet on the car because I have not had time. I still need to do the front struts, finish chasing a coolant leak, and now my clutch is going out.
Obviously clutch is top priority right now, but the idle still bugs me, I can not cruise at 15mph because it always sits at 1000 and in 2nd and 3rd gear it is too high. (local base has 15mph residential)
