    Burnouts get expensive very fast.
Smooth driving is faster, safer, and easier on the car.

all the time in my recent cobra. In an e30, don't see the point, I'd just look dumb.

          no.

The craziest I get on the street is an occasional 'oversteer' corner in the rain..

Don't do burnouts with your M20. Timing belt WILL snap.

It's not even close to the 2010 worst thread.

Be careful you don't r3v it. I'd hate to see that happen to your car after all the work you've put into it.

Not sure if serious or just trolling.. How would it make the timing belt snap?

I would never think of doing such a thing in my e30.

do one in the wet, less drivetrain shock.

it's fun. i cant seem to get my zinno ix to do a burnout. 3 things stopping it: automagic. awd. azenis rt615s.
In the rain with mine I can spin them about once before it hooks up. It is pretty violent though. It jerks a lot!

Also, they are E30s, not Ferrari's.

I rarely act a fool when it's dry. Don't want to blow through tires, and I'm not 12 years old. If it's wet out I will occasionally shift hard into 2nd from a roll to get the bitches excited.

What good is owning a racecar if you don't do burnouts in it?

I enjoy my cars too much to punish them with such stupidity. :p

It's perfectly acceptable if rear traction happens to break loose during spirited driving. ;)
