I have customer's that had e30's before and wish they had never sold them compared to the e46/e60/e90's they are driving now they are just unhappy. Not with having to pay more for service, just that the cars are always having issues.;)

Between the 2 models- if god took all the e30's of the face of the earth and i had to choose. I would drive an e36 over an e46. I have owned about 6 e36's. E46's i wouldn't touch if my life depended on it bro.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

All the work I had to do to replace the crank position sensor on my E36 was such a PITA. Really just about everything I have done on that car is a pain.
I cried when I saw where the crank position sensor was on my E30 and how easy it was to get to and replace. 5 minute job vs the hours spend pulling everything to get to it on my E30.

For my first go around it took a while. Having done it I could do another one in a lot less time. 20 minutes is pretty damn quick. You must have shape shifting hands to get to the wiring harness, I doubt I'd be able to get to it with the manifold or oil filter housing still in place with my hands.
