    What Tools?

So this Saturday I'm flying to LA to go check out an E30, if all goes well then I will be driving it back the 500miles home. I'm definitely bringing a bag of tools but I'm wondering if there is anything specific I should bring?

    Screwdrivers
    Metric Sockets
    Metric Crescents
    Monkey
    Needle Nose
    Pliers

    What else?

    B.F.H.

if you cant fix it with a Big Fucking Hammer, it ain't really broken.

seriously though, maybe a multi-meter, elec. fittings and such, water pump pliers, assorted zip-ties, duct tape, mechanics wire.

all sorts of things to consider.

The way I see it is that if you bring it, you wont need it.

You didn't mention which engine so here's some other things to consider...

Multi meter, wire cutter/crimp tool, electrical tape

Having a can of fix a flat is great to get you through a bind in the middle of the night when everything is closed and you got a tire going down

Spare coil, cap and rotor and drive belts if you got access to those parts

Haha funny you say that because I told the girlfriend she should come so she can give me head on the road, and she got all excited, but then I realized it wasn't worth the 70$ plane ticket.

Everything you need should be in the trunk toolkit. If it's missing, you don't need it. This is how I live my life.

wallet and a cell phone. if it does break, you probably won't be able to fix it without parts.

maybe some electrical tape, a wrench set and some screwdrivers if something comes loose.
