Duct Tape and zip ties, those fix everything amirite?

In all seriousness I hope you are going on a plane that has a free bag check. TSA wont let screwdrivers in a carry-on and paying whatever crazy fee they charge you to check a bag is prob the same as buying cheap tools from harbor freight as needed.

Extra cell phone battery - In case you're stranded due to the alternator/battery
Epoxy - In case you find a leaking hose
Extra drive belts - Obvious. You might need them in the suture anyways

Han Carry a Radiator: In case you kit an animal on the way. That's what usually goes first.

You know... Just call the Airlines and ask how much to check-in an extra M20. That way you're all set. ;)

Seriously, what they said. Just add the top three things I put//
                  - Y2K M Coupe (DD, Track Rat)
                  - '08 Land Cruiser (Family Hauler/Tow)
                  - '90 E30 4/5sp. (DD/ Son)
                  - '87 AW11 Mr2 (AutoX-Rally-Track)
                  - '06 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 w/sidecar (weekend cruiser)

                  Future
                  - E92 M3
                  - 88-91 M3 (maybe.. if I can find one, regret selling in 05)

Map out the members who live along the route you will be driving and coordinate emergency pit stops! Take a MRE, a few bottles of water, a multi-tool (leatherman), and a compass. You know, just in case all else fails!

When avi and I flew to sacramento to get an 02 I boarded the plane with 2 screwdrivers and an old school multi meter with wire leads that quite possibly looked like a bomb. They pulled it all out and asked me what it was for. I told them we were going to pick up a 40 yo car and drive it back and they let me board with 2 screwdrivers in my carry on. lol.. feel secure??
