I see madd people with 24v swaps running no power steering on the DD. I'm in the same boat with my s50 swap. I'm wondering what kinda steering racks your using? I use a e21 non power rack, and it steers like butter.

Would like mine to be the daily driver,......but that is not going to happen until I finish the re-build. At my current rate of build going to take more then a year to get there.

Yes !!!!! It has been for 11 years now. I bought it with 118k and it now has 290k on it. Second marriage-3 kids-2nd dashund-4th motor-3rd diff-2nd trans almost ready for number 3(because i am still using a semiautomatic). It has been tracked on long courses and tight timeattack courses and the first 4 years it was driven 6 days aweek- 180 miles round trip from rowland heights to big bear lake everyday except when it snowed (land rover disco II was then used in that case). I have been thinking about getting alternet transportation.

I DD mine. Matter a fact, when I get home I'm gonna put my snows on bottle caps on for the winter.

Yup! Best DD I have ever owned. Matter fact, one of my favorite cars I have owned all time. The e30 was the car that got me into cars (love, mechanical work, performance).

My DD, when I first got it, it just needed some basic maintenance and I've spent my weekends fixing every little thing on the car. We'll see how it does this winter, hopefully with winter tires, mudflaps and LSD it'll do okay.
