So I sold my e36 to some kind of insurance investigator. Before he bought it he was able to get names, address and phone numbers etc. to all the previous owners. Of course because I'm good for nothing I lost his number. Does anyone know anyone like this or how to find out this info short of Hiring a PI.

The dmv does divulge that information. You gotta pay though and it takes some days. At least it did when I last searched a car- Josh
