I'm just saying there are compromises when you buy things that are bargains, in one way or another. You shouldn't expect to buy a dangerous product, but then again IE claims they haven't had problems otherwise. (vodo is a little more extreme than an average application I imagine.) When you buy something cheap, there are sacrifices you are making. This mostly goes for IE as a whole, like their strut brace for example. If you want a good quality product, go for the original, not the knockoff.

And I've compared IE's SS lines to the ones Turner sells and you might save what $25? But they aren't as quality as TMS's kit.

Should you expect dangerous life-threatening dangers when you buy cheap? NO. But this case is also the exception. If you want to complain about fit&finish or being the top product, don't be looking for the budget......e30 owner or not.

Thing is the parts they use are top quialty parts ie. oem ford calipers and caliper carriers off a cobra, i honestly dont think this is a cheap low budget set up. The part that needs more work is the adapter they make, apperently it flexs to much. I have had 4 different kinds of lines, goodridge from turner to ie's lines there all the same dot cirtified or not, ss lines as long as they are assembled right should not be much different. If you ask me RPI made a budget kit, they used calipers with no dust seals that need to be rebuilt often, at least ie had the forsite to avoid that style caliper and go with something more orented to the non race car for everyone out there that is using these on the streets

a chain is only as strong as its weakest link

and i've held IE lines and Turner lines and feel much better about TMS's product they sell to the consumers. the confidence in them is worth the $ in IMO.
