    924, then 944, then 968=water cooled, front engine, 4 cylinder
    928=water cooled, front engine, V8

    Mtriple= dont do it. High HP 951s are a fuckin blast to drive, but they're like kids, the best kinds are the ones you can play with then give back to their parents when they shit/yack/whatever.

The 928 was very high tech and extremely quick and very expensive ($50k in the mid 80's). 928 was a V8 300hp all aluminum. Built for top speed (I think around 170 mph). Touring type suspension.

      No comparison between the two.
      Thanks for the clarification, I may sound stupid, but I prefer take the 944(for appearance) over the 928, the 928 doesn't look that good as a 944 talking only in lines(Shape) and not in tech.

        I agree Rob and that's a pretty good analogy...lol!

        This thing is so clean, and it has a shit load of money in mods. The exhaust was like 4k alone! It's not even the maintenance that scares me, it's the thought that I will regret my choice and miss my E30.
        It sure is pretty though...

            I asked my friend about removing the engine to change the clutch and he said that, though he's never done it before, the transmission is mounted in the rear of the car so there is no need to remove the engine to replace the clutch. He said from the looks of it all you have to do is jack the car up in the rear and drop the transmission.

                Just for clarities sake, most 6 banger E30s are more than that. My basic late model 325i weighed in at 2780 on the scales
