A lot of the noise comes from the driver/ passenger footwell area(near suspension, engine etc.). Also, you could try putting more sound deadening between the rear door cards and the body(if you have a 2 door). When I put all my door cards back in I did this and it made It a lot quieter. Just my 2 cents.

How far are you willing to go in regards to sound deadening your car?
There are vibration dampers(the self adhesive, best if butyl backed, tiles that you put on your floor boards, doors, backseat etc, to deaden vehicle vibrations). But that is only part of the picture.
Now you have to worry about road, wind, and engine airborne noises not caused by the vibration of the vehicle that will still be heard in the cabin. This is where closed cell foam and MLV(mass loaded vinyl), noise barriers, come into the picture. This is often the missing puzzle piece when it comes to properly deadening a car, and will yield the best results.
The purpose of these(best used together - foam and MLV on top of vibration dampers) is to deaden the airborne road/engine/wind noise that vibration dampers don't take care of.
Be advised, it can become quite costly.
I have seen and heard of stories of people only lining and lining their cars with tile after tile of vibration dampers(dynamat etc) and totally leaving out the applications noise barriers, and being unsatisfied in the end in terms of cabin noise.
I'll give you some links below of the top 3 retail places and info sites that were and still are very helpful in my research. I am sure many people are already familiar with these.
I consider Second Skin Audio the best. They have vibration dampers, closed cell foam/MLV combo that is adhered together(Luxury Liner), and liquid coatings that were mentioned in this thread already. The liquid coatings are very messing in my opinion and tough to apply. I personally would go with a good butyl backed vibration damper from anyone of the retailers below and then put luxury liner pro from second skin audio on top of it just on the floor boards and doors. Fat Mat has a closed cell foam/MLV combo, too.

Another familiar site that was a great help in educating me about the basics and truths/falsehoods about sound deadening, a very, very good site.
Hope this helps!
