How similar is a z4 m convertible to an e30 and what can be swapped over?

I'm doubtful that you've found a Z4 M Roady (Perfect inside and out & clean title) in the price range of the average E30 here..which I'll say is about 5k. Highly unlikely. But, with that said, best of luck to you if it is true.

If I buy this car, I won't keep it as a whole. Those are the conditions to my purchase, if I purchase.

And this isn't a deal that I can simply pass onto others. It's more of a deal between friends, not an actual sale where money is the main objective.

you do not have a Z4 diff. in your car. it will not fit, not even close. maybe you have a ring and pinion from a Z4, but not the diff.

I know someone over here that can get cars similar to what you are saying. most are pre-production cars with no vin. The guy I know buys wrecks and swaps the VINs over legally.

This does actually make sense. Multi link rear suspension of the m coupe is similar to the e36 rear end ( I Assume) so I bought a z3 rear differential.

I don't believe it one little bit, the whole parting out sets it all off. Plus you are from Cali, is it a impounded drug dealers car? That would make sense with the Top Gear example of them blowing up the Evo after that Rally. THAT is the ONLY thing I can think of that would explain it.

If that is the case, I can understand the cheap price and need to part it out. So I would buy it and go S54 and sell off the rest of the parts to fund the swap. Then crush out the shell for more money.
