    (3. Do you come here often??

    (4. Does the vehicle have past maintenance records and what maintenance have you had done yourself?

Lucky for you our cars are self work on friendly. www.azbmw.org will help if you do get a car since most of the community is in the valley.

You can't really "fix a cylinder" the problem could be anything from possibly a bad injector, or a faulty plug and wire, to even bent valves, although if it were the latter you would definitely notice it.

well, i got some more info about the car, so apparently the woman selling it says that it will need a new engine to fix everything up, she wants to sell me the car for 650, but im not sure what i should do, is it even worth investing in? the body is nice, paint seems to be good, and no accidents and the title is ready.

Go for it and let the games begin. Seriously if you have patience and are willing to work through problems you will at a minimum gain an education and possibly a cool car. Hope you have reliable transportation until it is driveable and be prepared to invest in some tools and learn to use them otherwise expect to cry when you get repair quotes.

vehicle history report is mandatory these days, i buy and sell cars all the time, and Ive learned people are liars and will say what they need to in order to get one over on you :)
I can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:

depending on it's condition then it doesn't seem too bad. Engine swaps out of later BMW's are extremely common, and there is a ton of info on them on this site if it interests you.

If it comes down to swapping an engine, I'm all game. As of of now, the offer is at 650 and the car is supposed to be running. Its a 90 325is with the supposed bad cylinder, and timing belt. The clutch an tires are good. And the body is dent free. Should I take the leap of faith? If I were to swap an engine, how pricey would that be?

Has the car ever been used as a set for adult films?

Go for it, especially if it's a nice color with solid paint and a dent free (that isn't true btw, look harder. maybe no big dents, but there will be dents) body...

oh and yes, no matter what you ask, assume they're lying.
