Shit like this happens all the time. I was selling a set of style 5's on CL, took plenty of pics, described them honestly (ie cracked clear coat which isn't an issue if you polish the lips). I state the wheels are straight and in good condition for their age. The guy came to see them and got all pissed off basically saying I wasn't honest and wasted his time. I don't know what he expected for the price I was selling them at but he obviously was expecting more. I wanted to bitch slap his ass but I said alright, have a good day and promptly closed the door. If it was an attempt to get me to lower the price even more, he was mistaken. I sold them later that week for my asking price. Anyway, shit happens, it's part of selling stuff online.

I was going to say, at least it was sorted before anything was shipped.

OP has a legit gripe, so I'd say I'd say this is a good, albeit wordy, heads up. Especially considering this e30redline fella has started five different threads soliciting the trade. It sucks to have someone wasting your time when you list parts for sale, and even more when you're not even trying to sell anything.
