How to tell if a car is straight?

So how do you guys tell if a car is straight?

My friend told me that, although my e30 is sort of a bucket of a car, it had the merit of a straight body.

So...how do you tell just by looking? I don't know what an un-straight car looks like.
And how do you tell by measuring or quantifying?

I bought an IE strut brace and installed it yesterday and it popped on pretty easily. i just needed to rubber mallet the side a little to get it to fit on the studs.
is that any indication of straightness/frame integrity or does it just mean that my towers weren't sagging?

Staight body, as in panels are aligned, probably not in an accident(or major accident).
Could go as far to say no major digs, or high/low spots.

      Straight frame is co
Oleteky different, but unless the car was seriously fucked at some point, doubt you have to worry lol.

With the brace, they are all like that.

Put it next to a really sexy car, if the antenna goes up its straight. If not then its either gay or needs Viagra, either way you don't want it.

I think every E30 is old enough at this point to validate using Viagra.

ugh, so many useless trolling posts on r3v.

i'm not really sure it can be quantified? i think it's more of a qualitative judgement. my car is 'straight' as in it has never been involved in an accident, although i had considerable trouble putting in my IE strut bar.

i think generally if most of the seams/gaps seem consistent, the towers aren't bowed out, the roof over the b-pillar isn't waffled, and you can fit your radiator easily in the factory mounts then your car is more or less 'straight.'

If you can't immediately tell that your car is straight its probably gay.
