How to tell what suspension my car's running

My last thread posted in the suspension forum got zero responses, so i'm posting here...cool?

What's the easiest way to tell what sort of suspension shocks and springs i'm running? My car's definitely lowered, but I don't know what it is.
I was thinking I have to jack it up, wipe off the caked-on dirt, and then try to identify them somehow, but if there's an easier way, i'd appreciate your help.

Take it apart. You probably need new bushings and mounts anyway.
More then likely there will be some sort of ID on the spring. If your shock boots are blue then they're bilsteins.

If your car came with records, look through those.

      Otherwise, look at the suspension.

The only easier way is to find a receipt/service record.

you can just jack up the rear, get a rag of warm water and wipe off the springs/shock

I say rear cause its realy easy to get to. colors are sometimes also a giveaway. unless theyve been painted again. but usually u can tell at the rear.

          What u rockin???
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

can someone link me to the conversion kit?
I've been looking on the site, but i don't know what i'm looking at...

so for the conversion, i'd buy bilstein sports separately and this conversion kit and i'm set?

i've been told that i've got bilsteins, but i haven't confirmed this. nor do i know whether they're the sports or the HD's.

Fuckin serious? You have time to post but can't jack up your own car to find your own answers? There is NO way to tell without looking at the parts themselves. As for the GC spring/adjuster kit, search, its been done hundreds of times and covered on this forum dozens of times.

Warning: installing Ground Control sleeves requires you to raise the car and remove the struts and springs.

                dude, chill the fuck out.
i don't have a garage or a jack stand of my own at the moment. otherwise, i would've done it a long time ago. anytime i want to work on my car, i have to go to my buddy's place, and that's not always the easiest arrangement.

Seriously! This thread is hilarious to me.

Next, why not post a thread saying "how do I tell what color boxers I am wearing"?

I'm with Roy on this one. Jack it up and look. R3v is not your personal psychic.

But since you insist: H&R Sport.
