    Fiat 1200

Who knows a lot about the fiat 1200? (1958) A friend of mine has one and he wants to put in an M20. I'm sure the engine bay is just way to small, but let me know what you guys know about the fiat 1200. I didn't search for long, but there is not much info online regarding the fiat.

lol @ squeezing an M20 into THAT! I mean, it's an intriguing idea, but what a challenge.

And then there's going to have to be some chassis reinforcment to deal with that weight and power...

Your buddy is aware that Fiat probably fashioned the chassis out of tinfoil, pot metal castings and balsa wood, right?

      I mean, that's a cool-as-hell car, I'm just not sure it's up to the task without a complete chassis-fab.

I'll be interested to learn how I'm wrong.

I was thinking along the same lines, especially the M42.

How about a nice 1800cc 124/131 engine on duel webers or perhaps a later 2000cc fuel injected spider engine?

I think International Auto Parts (IAP) may be a good source of info and maybe parts. Been a long time since I tinkered with Fiats.

I guess the M20 is just a bit excessive
