I was just curious why no one really complained before. Embarrassment? If I dumped 17K on it and wasn't happy, I'd be calling him out on it. Vlad's been around a long long time. Just wondering why this is happening "all of a sudden."

That's because the car had good paint when he received it from Mitch M. The Tech I front was painted to match some time ago. I had sold Mitch some of the Euro parts back in 01 or 02, I can't remember the date.

He sells all the time on Craigslist.

carlb complained very briefly about his purchase of the replica M3. Also the 4 door 318i that Vlad did got damaged in shipping as well. That was a hushed one.

Anyone that pays $17K for a shitty 4-door M20 car deserves not only a car with questionable paint work, but to get kicked in the balls as well.

          But for $17K I'd rather be in a well-sorted out e30 M3, and don't say that a sorted out e30 M3 is hard-to-find at that price, they do pop-up on S14.net from time-to-time.

Please don't see this car in more detail. You will be extremely disappointed if what you are looking for is perfection or a high quality restoration project. I speak for paint and bodywork at least.

I would say that the silver four dour was far from shitty and an m20 still has its value to certain people.

w/e dude, i have yet to see a "well sorted" m3 for 17k. most are 19-23k for a CA car, no rust, young engine and well maintained.
                  Much wow

It only depends on what your definition of "well sorted" is.
And that's VERY subjective. A well sorted car for me isn't perfect. Otherwise it would be, well... Perfect.

I noticed that too. I wonder if it came like that though...

And a good point. Most R3V member's definitions of well sorted are very different from mine. I will accept problems and fix them. An M3 with a cracked dash and bad interior with a strong engine and straight body is well sorted IMO.

That bumper looks damaged too, for some reason it doesn't follow the body contours. Side skirts looks screwed up as well.

Whoever owns this thing now should check that gap between the body and side skirt. Who knows, They may find a previous owner or 2 in that crevice

That is a tempting price, I am very surprised it has not sold yet.

I've seen oranges with less orange peel than that decklid.

                                Wow.
