Hey guys, kind of having a weird transaction going on. I'm not used to this whole "refunding" thing since I've been selling things on the internet since February 2004 (according to my eBay) with absolutely no problem (100% transaction rating since 2004 plus lots of rep on here and other forums). I have no problem giving the guy a refund but I'm just wondering if it's reasonable to?
Here's the listing:
Vague description on my part, "what you see is what you get" kind of deal. Then there's a picture with a link where you can view the picture larger. No big deal.
FakeSupreme purchased my fogs immediately, $40 paypal. Sweet, awesome, very quick payment. I told him I'd get them out ASAP, which of course means As Soon As Possible. I had to do this all on my finals week and pre-holidays which was kind of frustrating so they indeed got out late, which he understood. That wasn't the problem.
When he received the item, he stated there were glass shards inside the cracked fog light and the oval piece on the passenger fog was out of place. He is very unhappy with the condition of the fog. He has yet to put them on his car because he was planning on darkening them out with tint.
He sent me these pictures which show just as much as the picture I posted on the for sale thread (when you click on the link and show the 'large' format of the picture):

Now he wants his money back because he thought the fogs are in working condition, which are not stated in the for sale thread, because frankly I don't know if they are or aren't, they've been sitting in my basement for a bit and the description does not state so, nor did he ask. I don't know if when you plug them into a car they'll shine but neither does he.
I'm not quite sure entirely what to do, I have no problem returning the money, I'm not about to pull a Vlad haha but I just want to see if it's reasonable or necessary since I've never dealt with a refund before.
This is not an argument thread at all so I'm not getting on FakeSupreme's case, he's a good guy and communicates well!
