You paid 1600, so 1500 : ). You have to lose money on these cars, it's a standard rule.

How many miles on yours? A couple of months ago a mint 318is sold for $6k+ on ebay (also red). I think it had like 80k miles on it though.

it depends on the buyer. for myself i would never spend more then $2500 for an e30, unless its an m3.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

Almost every e30 in good condition is worth more than that.

This one will at least hit $5k:

Impossible. The price that it goes for is the worth! I think there are a bunch of older guys into e30s, who don't hang around on forums. They drive the price up. There just not on forums saying things like: Anybody who pays more the $2000 of an e30 is a fool etc.

If I were selling i would definitely not mind getting the most I can. But since I'm usually the buyer - I surely believe more than 2k is definitely not worth it for a car that's over 20 years old.

Tasteful mods are great, but usually do not add re-sale value. you can ask whatever you want, but there is one in Halifax that is mint with no rust that has been for sale for months asking 4k...

you do not indicate the level of rust, but for me visible rust requiring repair= no more than 2k in any way shape or form...

but it is worth exactly what someone will pay you for it.

I concur Ebay usually = bigger bucks.
