Kidding, that motor looks incredible! Do M30s have a timing chain or a belt under those front covers? Never worked on one.

They are M10s with two extra cylinders so they have a chain setup, very robust motor.

For the OP, have you looked into megajolt for your spark needs?

What was the engine from originally before the build?

B35 head from an E34 and a B34 block and crank from an E28. Everything else is new.

I've never used aftermarket spark/ignition system for carbs. I usually modify the distributors and they run pretty good.

I've been so busy, this build is killing me! lol

Well the engine is in the car, all wiring done, starts first go, sounds tough and tight!! The exhaust and tune up will be done this Saturday. I'll post pics and vids then, i do have a video of it running with no exhaust but it sounds pretty crapola lol.
