I'll have to agree with that, the rowland parts look pretty crude. I am using Karzundparts (sp?) manifolds and had a Korman 1 piece manifold but got talked out of it. Post up some dyno graphs when you get it running.

What is the availability like on DHLA parts now? They were getting hard to find 10 years ago!

I just gave a quick glance while eating but, now I notice the carbs. What are you running for the cam?

Very hard to find and expensive, it took me so long to find a matched set. They have also been rebuilt with new jets, ventures, chokes etc.

oops got excited and shot the load quick.

We are working with Kevin at Extrudabody for ITBs, so my mind is on ITBs... What are you doing for engine management?

You are digging a deeper hole, you can clearly see the "management" , it's called a distributor and carburetors.

I was going to do ITB's but i couldn't be stuffed messing around with it to get it running then spending money on tuning it etc. I was going to use a Microtech engine management computer.

try giving these guys a shot if you need anymore stuff for them.

DRLAs and DHLAs were big on VWs and they were the major US importer. i am pretty sure they still have a bunch of stuff left too.

ask for Marieann she knows her shit!

Don't know what everyone's so excited about. All I see is a blue MGB door.

Kidding, that motor looks incredible! Do M30s have a timing chain or a belt under those front covers? Never worked on one.

What was the engine from originally before the build?
