yep, same here. And i'm even an f-body owner. My biggest gripe is that they tried to hard to make it retro and failed. I know mine looks like a door wedge, but it was never intended to look like an old Firebird.

I think of the Big 3 retro pony cars, probably Ford nailed it with the Mustang.
I want so much to be head over heels for the Challenger (Should have been a Cuda' btw) but that beltline kills it for me, and the new Camaro? wow...idk what GM was doing there styling wise.

don't know much about the newer engines but back in the day ( late 60's, early 70's ) a ZL1 was a 427 cubic inch mill with like 450 HP. mostly put in the vetts.

It puts it off the Ford GT time by about 3/4 of a second, and 8-10 ahead of the faster factory stock M3's

Still does not change the fact that it only looks good when its oncoming, after that its a ugly ass car, and one you cant see out of either.

Don't agree. Cant tell how ugly a car is from the inside and a car that does 5:55 around dasRing at that dollar amount would be in my garage in without question.

I think the Camaro and Charger are the flops of the retro "muscle" cars. However, the Camaro does run one hell of a lap around the Nurburgring and I do respect it for that.

Hmm, it doesn't though. But if it did, it would still be ugly. To me at least.

Just as if an Atom 500 ran it in 5:55, it still wouldn't have a roof.

Didn't say I would never own one (I wouldn't) but it's damn sure ugly, and also difficult to see out of.
