New Member, new ride, new to the E30 game

Hey everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. Picked up a 1987 325E last night with only 141K on the odometer (before it stopped working 3 miles into my drive home, lol).

    Briefly:
    1987 325E Sedan
    5Speed
    manual sunroof
    power windows

Needs: New springs/shocks, new window actuators (although i'm planning on sourcing parts to make the front windows manual...i don't wanna hassle with power windows haha), complete suspension overhaul. Hopefully I'll swap in an S50 in 2012, although morelikely I'll do an M50 as it's going to be my daily driver.

thanks for reading and hope to be a productive forum member

    John

PS: Pics of car to follow after work
Needs: Working window regulators for my E30 sedan;)

The trip reset button on the cluster. You will most likely fuck it up if you press it while driving. Them 20 year old gears man.

haha...i did NOT know that. Live and learn, I guess.

Either way, car is fun as hell to drive. I'm torn between using this as a DD, or selling the turbo off my G35 and using that as my DD, which would help fund an engine swap on this car.

Ah, here it goes. Random guy takes the plunge and snags an e30.

It always starts so innocently ...
