Easier/cheaper to buy a RHD car in the first place.

Even then, I wouldn't do it. RHD specific parts are a PITA

Import a UK car and part it out to convert your car to RHD, all those cars are rusted out anyway

Why? I know there are places here that will do it (and it costs a fucking fortune).. But why would you want a RHD bmw in a LHD country?

Besides steering column plus exhaust manifold = FML.

It's cool at first but then it gets lame, then you just deal with it. I bought my touring despite the fact that it was rhd because they are relatively rare and I got a really good deal on it. I would trade it for a similar condition lhd touring in a second.

This isn't Japan, nor Australia. Although it would be different, if that's what your aiming for?

i had a right hand drive 67 bug. it was a pain driving around, the novelty wore off quickly.

left hand turns at lights in traffic were down right scarrrrryyy. turn and pray no one was comming at you as the light turned yellow.

Agreed, the novelty wears off quickly (currently in Japan driving RHD)

It would be fine in a RHD environment, hell it's not that bad driving on the "wrong" side here, it's just less convenient.
