New guy, not new to BMWs

I've been a lurker here for awhile but have recently picked up an E30 so I guess that makes me official.
My first BMW was a brand new 1976 2002. And yeah, you're right ... that makes me an Olde Phart. In the time since I've owned an E21 323i, an E12 528i, a couple of E28s (533i and 535i), an E36 M3, and my current ride - a 2004 ZHP.
I've loved them all but I've decided that what I want right now is Simplicity. Much as I love the ZHP - and it is one of my favorites - I'd rather have something that is smaller and lighter, as well as easier and cheaper to maintain.
Starting with a '90 325iA I'll be doing a 5-speed swap along with a new H&R/Bilstein Sport setup, I'm interested in keeping my E30 "mostly" stock but with a few performance upgrades. It'll be my DD. Here's snap that qualifies as a Before pic. More as the project continues ....

Also here's pic of my first and most recent BMWs

Welcome! If you want simplicity and fun you bought the right car.

For the record, while most of us here are younger (~30 or less) there are quite a few older established members. Most of them have just learned to act like kids to blend in. :p

Welcome! My first BMW was a 76 2002, but that was in 86. Driving a ten year old BMW wasn't that cool back then, with all those spoiled/rich dudes driving brand new e30s looking down their noses at you haha, lol.
