    you guys think a 92 240sx can tow a e30 800 miles from nm to ca?

    so like the title says can it be done without destroying both cars?
    thinkin of hooking up a trailer to the 240 and towing the dead e30 to California from New Mexico

                    thougt ad much. my friend is movin out here wih his 240. He has a dead e30 at his house. but problem is he can only drive he 240. I think I'd have to go back or we would to grab the e30 on a trailer or somethin. from albuquerque to Los Angeles. it's a 86 325i. everything stock 5 speed. just need the engine to live again. a sweet project car if we. an get it here to screw around with. just limited funds and shit on both our parts.

                      it would make a cool picture but I think renting a trailer or a truck would be better. if you can make the trip in 24 hours you can get a one day rental which is cheap.

                        right, to rent/ return to a location is cheap. but to rent a truck from enterprise on a one way destination adds like $200. to 'ship' a vehicle is like $1000. I just went back there in December And don't feel like goin back 11hrs on a cheap train to just drain more money to move the car. anyone know of a cheap place to Rey cars for one way trips? haha

                          You coming out on the interstate 10 or the 40 ? Remember the steep grade coming out of flagstaff down hill bro coming west my friend.You can lose the brakes on that hill bro.

                            shit, yeah. Zona is a strong pull up then a fast decline. shit. too bad the rentals are so expensive one way. gas, etc. it really feels worth it. but maybe. it's way more than the cars worth at this point.

                              find a decent M20 for a couple hundred and swap it in, then drive it. Im sure the two of you can scrounge up $250.
