I don't know about anyone else, but I felt so bad for Hulkenberg and Button when they called out the safety car and eliminated their 40+ second lead. I get that there was debris on the track, but it was also there for quite a while before they made the decision (cleverly edited to happen right after Alonso complained).

Looks like Red Bull Renault will be renamed Infiniti Red Bull next year, Infiniti will now be the title sponsor, and the cars will still be using Renault engines.

Seriously a great race. No more speed channel for next year! No schumi!

My shameless plus is to view the new schedule for next year on my buddies site (still in dev) www.f1onnbc.com

    Thanks,

    Tyler

It was interesting to see what piquet had to say to alonso on the podium. You could tell there was a bit of a language barrier, but i felt bad for alonso when piquet straight up said "he felt sorry" for alonso. Alonso's face was pretty expressionless when this happened.

Same, Alonso really got screwed in those couple of races with bad accidents and DNF's, I felt bad for him. But at the same time, that's racing. Unexpected things happen, and they are part of what determine the outcome of the season.

Pretty spot on there ^. Having seen where Ferrari came from Alonso really deserved to win. He did everything he had to in an under performing car. Luck was on SV's side today. I'm not trying to take anything from Vettel, he drove a great race after the spin. He along with Alonso are 2 of the best drivers the sport has seen in a long time and along with Lewis (and many others) put on some spectacular racing this season. 111 days until it starts all over again :D

Senna wouldn't have a good showing if you took everyone else off the track and let him run against shifter karts.

Sorry to say it, but the only reason he's still a driver is because of his name.

Is there anywhere to stream the races? I plan to cancel my cable and use the savings on a car payment in the spring haha

I will say that I'm new to the sport and I did miss a few races this year, but you can't argue too much with the results. I kinda feel like a big fanboy but I really like Red Bull and what they do outside of sell piss flavored caffeine, so it kind of makes sense I would root for Vettel.

    +1

Vettel should have ate it on the first lap. He caused that crash, but whatcha gonna do.

    Great championship, incredible final race.
