                sometimes I think my hood doesnt match and sometimes I think it does...but I think it might whatever I'm smoking... but yeah I see it too especially on audis and thier bumpers.

                    Metal to plastic can often show up different shades of the same color. Silver especially. I worked in a body shop for a year and this was a big issue, even factory it can look slightly off.

                                    Well if ur car has had a doors off respray that would explain it. We u paint a car with doors off, u have to stand up the doors, otherwise they will differ

                                                    My e30 is that way too. It bothers the hell out of me. I'm probably just going to get some SEM and paint them all this summer sometime. And if your door is really a different color, it's probably been replaced (one from another car that was the same color but faded differently) or it's been repainted. My hood is starting to look a bit that way.
