Most extreme climate your E30's been through.

I turned on my car this week to see the temperature at a balmy -30 degrees celcius with a windchill of -45, the weather has been like this for a couple days now and my E30 has started everyday with a hitch (plugged in of course). I don't know if there was a thread like this already but I was just curious what the most extreme temperatures you've put your E30s through were. That includes hot and cold climates.

That's more than likely the temperature mine will be started at tomorrow morning.

She doesn't care. She'll plow right through the startup sequence. Maybe give me a little guff like earlier tonight.

I've had my e30 cruising at 80 mph in 120+ degree heat and stop in go freeway traffic and it drove fine....I'm guessing 120+ degree's would create atleast 140+ on the pavement.

The lowest is 20ishºF. Cranks a bit slower then usual but still runs like a champ.

I have a handful of clients in Alberta that haven't been to work this week because of your super low temperatures. I just couldn't do it. One in Fort Mac told me they had a windchill of -41. He drives an e21 and said it starts right up while his wife's brand new VW SUV won't.

My car doesn't see extreme temps at all. I doubt it would care though.

This one time I drove my car through LA.

JK, nothing serious yet as summer isn't here, but I'm hoping she won't mind the 120F days here :)

These cars are great, if treated well and maintained they will drive you through hell and back.
