The most significant problem would be structural and no one can determine whether the frame is straight or not after the fact without proper tools. But even the least significant problem could become a major pain down the road. For example, if it's salvaged due to a fire or flood you could be chasing electrical gremlins the entire time you own the car.
But you might get lucky and it could have been totaled over a fender bender. The only time I'd consider a salvage title would be for either a beater and I needed to get to work *or* if I was going to do a bottom to top restoration and the car had some kind of value. While an iX is worthy of restoration, I don't know if they're rare enough that you'd want to deal with it unless you had some reason for specifically restoring that car and keeping it.
