    gold plated bbs rs?

    i've heard somewhere that gold plating items is cheaper than you would expect,
    but has anyone ever gold plated centers of a 3 piece bbs weave wheel?
    that would be so awesome i'm trying to see that.
    i wish my RF's were RS's or RM's

                  I almost went that route, after finding out that you will get charged for the gold platting flakes in oz. (crazy $$$) I said mehh..... I'll pass, but it would be kinda gangstah 80's like to see them done though.

                  Not BBS but here are my Borbet type A's in their true color combo for reference. (chrome lips/gold plated centers)

                      i think borbet A's look best in gloss black or the regular finished aluminum.

                              Didn't that guy from whatever stance site with the super dropped, rusted and chopped 5 series have gold plated wheels? Before his garage burnt down.

                                          it all depends on who you know. Obviously there's a baseline price, (the cost of gold per ounce) but after that there is a considerable mark up.

                                          example:

                                          -friend of mine had his caps gold plated for $75.00 a piece.

                                          -another set of caps for another friend I had nickel coated for $10.00 a piece and then flashed gold for $12.00 each.
