Most shops around here are +/- $100/hr, so assuming NJ is similar (and given that components were seized) that isn't a bad price.

Yep most places charge around 100 an hr. sucks.
I did brakes on some guys car the other day. Quoted him 80 for labor tO do front rear rotors and pads. Well once I got into it I realized everything was rusted on! I mean it took a 3ft breaker bar on a cut 19mm wrench and a BFH to get the brackets off. charged him 110 for pain in the ass factor. His shit hadn't been done in over 100k! rotors were cracking!Comment
