Went yarding

Had a good day yarding with the wife. Got some bits for her car and saw a lot of awesome stuff. A really nice mostly complete triumph tr6 and tr7, and a nice looking fiat 1000. We noticed everyone seemed to look at her weird for carrying parts. Does anyone else go to the yard with their lady?

There's a mostly complete 150k mile 535. The m30 is complete down to the air filter. All electronics are there.

No affiliation, if i had a garage I would have that motor already.

Also saw an 87 e30 vert. Blue with blue top. Top is mint, clear rear window and all weatherstrips. All the other glass is in the car but anything easy to remove of value is long gone. Diving boards are in good shape as is the trunklid and at least one door.

nothing in the way of e28 parts but I did see one at Paul's auto yard in Gary about this time last year. Most of it was there and it seemed like they didn't do much in the way of euro stuff, might still be there. Couldn't hurt to give them a call.

What kind of blue? Was it a blue-purple type color? I am looking for royalblau-metallik fenders.

by the look of it, it was about the same color blue as the car in your sig

My girl has been with me a couple of times. Pulled a motor with me too. We get weird looks at the yard, but it think they are all just jealous that my girl would come with me. Like what does he do to get her come with him? The only one of her friends that would step foot near a yard. I have guy friends that won't even go because its too dirty for them. Homos

What color were the seats in that e34? if they were black I think I'm going to grab em tomorrow. My dads friend has regular 525i with m5 seats. The drives side one twists. I've been dying to get my hands on em for a future e28 project! I know he'll trade for a working set.
