Why is everyone crying about the sizes. You already have the best looking wheels ever made available to you, bbs rs. If you're cheap just buy some reps.

I don't think anyone is crying. IMO, I just think the wheels don't fit on the vehicles they are trying to market them for. We're e30 owners, for most of the people on this forum 7k is more than what their car is worth. If anything they should of marketed these towards the rotiform and baller bbs rs type crowd.

I shed a tear at the end of the video. Seriously I'd just buy Super Rs for nearly half the cost of those quotes.
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

          Ha, thanks!

My buddy is shipping his 458 down to LA for their official photoshoot in early March. I may be a co-pilot for the drive back up to Portland.

They're giving him a fully custom set for cost.

Just because they are vintage series wheels does not mean they are for vintage cars. The wheels on that 458 looks fucking awesome.

Yea, their target audience isn't classic car owners.. those wheels are for exotic/sports car owners who want to retro-fy their Ferraris and Porsches.

HRE makes really nice wheels for alot of exotics.

yes it does suck they dont have sizes for our e30's and actual vintage cars.

thats why we have bbs & all the other 1,000+ rims already on the market now lol.

i applaud the fact they're trying a vintage approach other than their baller 3pc looking rims that are similar to iforged and so on.

I've visited and toured HRE's san diego location with the BMWCCA/PCA, & I understand the price on their wheels. Their clients are on the deeper end of the wallet, as opposed to normal tuners.
501/503 are great looking wheels !

Do you know if your friend was going to have the HRE guys shoot it or someone else? It wouldn't happen to be these guys, would it?

Craftsmanship is unparalleled. Priced for the market they are targeting. They are all great works of art. That being said, HRE posted on the fb page that if there was demand for smaller sizes they would produce. But I'm sure they will just do fine with their current sizes an market.

If they are all hand-made like that in the USA, then no doubt they are priced right. That's what.. $1500-2000 per wheel? HANDCRAFTED?

If you guys want 14" wheels that are made in China, then sure, $700 a set is about right.

They look sick, hopefully I'll have a set on a nicer car (not an e30) in the next 5-7 years.
