Where can i find a skirt for under a pre 88' bumper?

I hate that empty space behind the wheel wheels and under the bumper when you look at it from behind. Just the exhaust hanging down doesnt do it for me. Any ideas where i can find just a small skirt to fit under the rear bumper to cover up that empty space?

Pre 88 is a doozy. Im having the same question now that the front and sides of my 1986 are nice and low and body color and still have the ultra high rear non-existent valance due to the later bumper swap. Theres also the BMP RS rear which isnt that bad, but I hear its fitment is doo doo.

The BMP RS rear is still fiberglass to my knowledge, and fits a lot worse than the front which is urethane.

I been struggling with the same thing myself. I hacked one together from a Jetta, but it will be sooooo much work to make it look right. The I was thinking about cutting one off a platic bumpered car and welding it on, but I haven't tried that yet. Isn't there an Mtech one?

yea there is nothing easy/cheap about it..sounds like alot of work and someone should patent one if they can make it.. Make a huge dollar value for themselves. Id buy 2..

Rear skirts show up on ebay, here and the picknpull but they are one of the harder things to find. I've also seen someone saying if you can weld, to cut the built-in rear skirt off an 89-91 car and weld it onto your car.

Here shows one of the cheaper rear kits around/available:

I thought of buying this car for the rear apron and sides and selling
them, but my friends on www.baye30.net said don't bother this
particular kit is not that good (ie fiberglass, bad fitment, looks bad, etc)
