Car has never been winter driven and is in great condition inside and out. MVI until 2013. Reason for price drop is because it needs a new clutch and battery. Also due to having the house up for sale and will be losing the garage. Vehicle currently has 19" BMW 335i's equipped. Will also include the stock tire's on rims and a brand new set of winters.

I know the clutch isn't going to be anywhere near witha a clutch replacement on an E30 is in terms of ease or expense, but if he really wants to sell and I lowball him on it (lol typical r3v), I could be cruising like a boss in a 540/6 speed. Am I retarded for thinking of taking this on?

If the paint is in good shape, I'd say go for it. It's a few thousand below market value. Be ready to put that into it to get it up to ship-shape.

Roy, from someone as familiarly as you are with the pricing of these in Canada NS especially, I say if you can confirm a clutch is all that is wrong with it, I would not even wait one more second...also, I will be envious of your manually stirred e39 goodness.

Fuck it, I can always just use the drivetrain in an E30 for that price. If it still around Sunday I'm going to check it out. Plus I could sell the 19's off of it, use the money to refinish my M-Systems and put them on. I'm liking this idea.

It was gone before I could even go see it. Maybe for the best, I should be paying for tuition to actually get some kind of education and/or pour it into one of my E30's.
