What do you use to preserve your rubber seals?

So I bought a 2010 volvo s40 as a dd. and it has a lot of exposed rubber seals around all the windows etc. Just wondering what everyone uses to keep their seals from drying and cracking. My car is outside during the days and the hot FL sun really cuts down the life span of any rubber/black plastic. I have been using wurth gummi pledge lately, but have not been using it long enough to form an opinion on it. Also what is the best product for plastic? I currently use mothers back to black but I dont know how much protection it really gives.

He is probably not being cheeky. I have used it on the plastics on my truck before. It does a good job of making them look nice and fresh and keeping them that way for a while. It may also be harming them at the same time but IDK.

I use Shin-etsu on my S2000 top seals, great product sold at Honda dealerships.

                    peanut oil!

better than ANY back to black or commercial product.

lasts longer and gives it a freshly painted look without a oily or wet look.
poor some on a terry-cloth and rub it onto your seals and black trim, BAM insta-love

Zep 45 works great for removing and preventing oxidation on plastic.
