State farm. $154 a month on two cars, e46 330i and e36 M3. Once I add my e28 back on, it'll go down to $130 something....or at least that's what it was with my e30 'vert, M3, and e46 back in the Summer. Then it went up when I took a car off.

We got sued after over 6months passed since the accident for medical bills. They claimed neck injury suits fckn 6 months later. Insurance covered it but the premium skyrocketed so you end up paying for it either way but without insurance, youd go court, lawyer up, lose, and pay the medical bills out of pocket. Not worth it.
by that time, I'd almost completely forgotten about the accident. they even tried to name my wife, who I didn't even know at the time, in the lawsuit. my premiums didn't seem to go up much though, which was wierd.

I'm with USAA as well. I pay roughly $365/6 months premium, with a $50 deductible. Since I do all of my banking with them, the woman who quoted me said I'm getting a policy that is based on my net worth with the bank, not just the value of my car.
I'm not entirely sure how they came up with their figures, but I have really high coverage for both myself and passengers, my property, and drivers of other vehicles should I be the one at fault.
I just hope I never have to use it...1988 325ix

State Farm - Home, 6 vehicles insured - varying coverage on vehicles - $ 65 a month. Im > 45 with good driving record and no claims.
Have a friend of the family that is an older woman and she bumped a guy backing out of a Target parking lot where there were blind corners , etc. It was an older man that was hit and she got sued for 175 K. They were going to take her house to pay the bills before she got a friend who is a lawyer involved with her insurance companies lawyers. Now they are going to duke it out with the older mans lawyer.
So as stated 3 K for an e30 no matter how precious to the owner is nothing when it comes to medical costs.
