I was making a right turn in the rain at 10-15mph, and for some reason the back of the car just kept on going, so I let off the gas, and attempted at redirecting the car, but to no luck. Car went up the curb, slashed open the oil pan, hurt the valence more, and tweaked the fender. Looking under the car, the only areas that the curb scraped the car were the exhaust and pan, so I think the suspension and steering should check out alright. I probably overreacted with this thread, but at the time, I wanted to part the car and buy Mtriple's e34 (which I still want, its so pretty). Then Scott PM'd me and said he'd fly out and put my car back together if that's what it would take, so I decided it was worth the money and effort to get the car fixed. So yeah, Heeter, hit me with your best stuff.

You mean how the back end of the car keeps going and I spin out? I wasn't attempting to do something stupid like fish tail through the turn, I take this turn 10x a day, it's not something I'd need to do.
Or how the fender got tweaked? Thats the story, someone specify why it doesn't make sense, I'll try to explain.

Two things don;t make sense -
1 - how you broke loose at 10-15 mph, even in the wet, and
2 - just how exactly you ran up on the curb - I am trouble understanding which curb you hit. Did you end up turning into the one on your right as the rear wheels regained traction? Or did the whole car slide mad drifto style into the opposite curb.
Again, not saying you are shitting us - I just don't get how exactly this happened.Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3

Ah, got it. I hit the curb on the right of me (car slid 90° clockwise), and then it drove straight up the curb. The street I made the turn on is a touch downhill, but no excuse for my backend going loose. I really don't know how it kept going, I wasn't trying anything special, its just a one lane road, so there's no room for error (obviously). I was under the impression that Ziex' were better in the rain than this, motivates me to get something more all-seasonish. Or S0-3s.
