there she before i brought her home. and the timing belt broke and the lady didnt wanna fix it. its at the machine shop now. 5 bent valves and a broken rocker. im gonna try my best to not be too much of a noob! thx for the welcomes!!
I see no one has mentioned the headlight fluid. Keep that topped up, there is a serious issue if you do not.
When the fluid gets low for to long it blows out fuse 242. This causes havoc with the DME, when this fuse blows it pulls power from fuse 212 which is your timing sensor, this causes the DMW to think you are at less rpm then you actually are will, causing it to leans out the fuel and then engine seizes.

Yep I'm still here. head is done. Turns out I needed a new cam as well. The car is currently an automatic so I am doing a five speed swap too. I have been looking for deals and collecting parts over the last month or so. Basically I need a trans and driveshaft yet and I'm pretty sure I found em. I plan to pull the block out of the frame also because it was pretty greasy in there and I wanna make it all pretty AGAIN. I will be sure to get some pics. soon
