i personally don't believe there was ever such a thing. can i ask why you would want that ratio in a small case? medium case e28's in that ratio are not too uncommon. they weigh 20 lbs more but will stand a little more abuse. if you need that ratio, this is likely your best bet.

i have seen 3.45 in small case. check 84-5 m10 cars.

there was a euro 323 in my local junk yard the other day with a 3.45(or 3.46-can't remember) i left it there because it wasn't limited slip.

well, i have both. i set both on my digital bathroom scale a couple days ago. medium case was 86lb and small case was 66.

if you are going to race, it is good to save all the weight you can. if this is for a street car, you are wasting your time and money on this venture. i guess you have to determine for yourself how much its worth to you to save 20lb. shipping for something of that weight from europe will be well north of 100.00 usd. probably closer to 150.00

i doubt casting differences would reduce the weight another 14lbs.

thank you for sharing your data. a possible explanation to the variation in difference of weight between small and medium cases could be dependent upon which casting one uses?
