The Russia where cops drive s500s and 750is? Just checking to make sure we're on the right page.

Besides, where do you guys get Russia from? The website's text is anything but Russian.

Cool car, but a little overboard. 99.9% of the people here couldn't drive it - perfect car?

there is no such thing as an ///m v12.

"Having won more road races than any other model in history, the E30 M3 is considered by many to be the world's most successful road race car." - Simply put, E30s kick ass.

Judging by the name "Per" I'd say it is somewhere in Scandenavia (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, etc)...

... that and the Scando's love of building monstrous, tarmac-rippling BMWs. God bless their cotton socks!

Uh, the whole "russia" thing was nothing more than eightyfoure's quote of Yakov Smirnoff from family guy.

              Bzzzt.

Go look in the 850CSI. 4 cam V12, same basic engine that ended up in the McLaren F1.

                Nope. SOHC, 2V/cyl.

S70B56 = only single cam/2 valve Motorsport road-car engine ever IIRC.

thanks. the v12's in maclaren cars are tuned by maclaren themselves... so it is not officially an ///m engine. never put into production, never existed.

Still wrong. Just because they were tuned by Mclaren, not maclaren, doesn't mean that BMW Motorsport didn't build them. The engine code is S70, S as in motorsport.

                          Right. "S70/2"
BMW built it - it literally says "BMW M Power", as well as "McLaren", on the valve covers... it's a real BMW Motorsport engine.

So because my engine is tuned by Mark D'Sylva, it's now his engine?
